Yes. Anthropic's Message Batches API offers the same 50% discount for requests processed within 24 hours. Both providers require submitting requests in JSONL format.
Avoid batch APIs for real-time user-facing applications like chatbots, live search, or any feature where users expect a response in under a few seconds. Batch is ideal for overnight processing jobs.
Submit a JSONL file of requests to the /v1/batches endpoint (OpenAI) or use the message-batches endpoint (Anthropic). You poll for completion or receive a webhook. Digiqt can help you migrate existing workflows.
OpenAI allows up to 50,000 requests per batch file, with a 200MB file size limit. Anthropic allows up to 10,000 requests per batch. You can submit multiple batches concurrently.
